When your friend becomes your rival

One of the biggest obsticles I faced when working out, is that I gave up half way through the workout or didnt start the workout at all. Why, because I couldnt produce self-motivation. I tried anything to keep doing my workouts. I played high bpm music to get a good rythm, I would record my progress, I would look at myself in the mirror to feel that motivation and it just didnt work for me, but one thing did. I would tell my friends to try the routines themselves or with me. They would come over to my house to workout or I would give them a copy of the workout but course I wanted to do better than them. I would do more reps, add more weight and other things that would show I was "better" than them and to improve faster. It payed off, I would complete the routine and even add a little extra. I got faster and better results and now its easier to commit to the next challange.
Thats one of the biggest piece of advice I can give you guys. Make a bet with a friend. Tell everybody you know that you started an exercise routine. Challange other people to start the same program. When you go to the gym invite people to go with you. All of this will keep you motivated and can give you a little extra on your routines. Telling people that you have started a new exercise program puts you in the best motivational position, because if you follow through they will be impressed and will make them follow the same program due to the awesome results you got, but if you quit and fail they wont stop making fun of you and call you a quitter. Making a bet is great because extra money on the wallet wouldnt hurt. Challenging people into trying the same program is an excellent idea because of the results. If you see that your friend is getting better and faster results, you will feel motivated to do better than what he's doing. Inviting people to the gym proves how the mind is the biggest tool ever. Your mind will analyze how your friend is doing if you see that hes doing better than you, you will want to catch up to him. If hes doing worst you will want to show off and leave him behind.
There are many other things that can keep you motivated but self-motivation is the best. Adding those useful things to your routines will easily improve your results.

With little or no equipment!!!!!

Hey Guys, It seems like a lot of people are trying new exercise programs or new routines but they dont have the equipment to do so. I have decided to start a new blog where I take the routines and exercises from different programs and modify them to use little or no equipment at all and add awesome tips with it. The concept will be the same, the results will continue or even get better!!!...and the best thing is that YOU WONT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY.. There are teens who want to get in shape (ME) but dont have the money to buy the equipment. Hopefully the blog can help more people.

"The easier the better" ????

People believe that by buying an expensive product that promises to make them lose weight just by sitting on the couch and watching Tv is the perfect way to go. WRONG!!!
A proper exercise program doesnt have to consist of fancy machines nor equipment and nor does it have to be an extensive amounts of workout routines. What people need is a workout that best fits their needs. One exercise program doesnt bring the same results to the millions of people trying it. Each person gets different results so why try them all??. People do some research and find the program that best fits your needs. Most exercise programs are done for people who are already in shape but want to step it up a notch. The P90X exercise program is a great example of how a great and efficient program can bring awesome results but its for people who are already fit, the P90X coaches explain it themselves, they recommend trying their previous programs first they have even included a fitness test when you buy the P90x 90 Day Challange.
In this economic crisis saving money is what matters. DONT SPEND MONEY buying fancy machines and useless programs. "All you really need to get in top shape is a used set of weights and a pair of running shoes. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on supplements, trendy machines, and expensive newsletters."
Your motivation should come from within. Yourself motivation is to feel better and look better. Having the proper positive reinforcement is an excellent way to keep going back to the gym and kicking some butt!!!

10 Workout Motivation Tips

1) Reward yourself. Finish your workout and treat yourself to a magazine, a TV show, some extra time with your family, some new songs for your IPOD, or even a little extra time for yourself.

2) Or set up a punishment for missing workouts. Skip the workout, put $1 into a jar to spend on home repairs. Make sure that someone else controls the jar.

3) Review your goals everyday and every night. Keeping your goals fresh in your mind will help you stay on track.

4) Realize that the hardest part of the workout is often getting your butt to the gym. Once you get 5 minutes into the workout, you will be over the hump. So tell yourself, “I’ll just go in and do 1 set of the first 2 exercises, then I can go”. Next thing you know, you’ll have done the entire workout.

5) Visualize yourself doing a great workout and finishing strong. Get yourself mentally prepared and you will literally have better workouts each time.

6) Crank the tunes. Seriously, nothing motivates like music.

7) Get social support. If you have a workout partner, you’ll feel like crap if you let them down or if your partner is doing better than you.

8) Work with what your body can take but make sure you "feel the burn".

9) Make a bet with someone about your fitness goals.

10) Your ultimate goal should be to feel better and to look better.

WORKOUT MOTIVATION

Hello everybody, my name is Salvador Ortega. Im 17 years old and this is my Workout Motivation.
I started this blog out due to the fact that my workouts used to be boring and it caused for me to stop workingout. I didnt have anyone to workout with, I simply had no motivation. Everything I did just seemed not to "workout" for me. One day I realized that i was the only way I could motivate myself, I searched things online. Looked around for what worked for me and now I'm on my way to becoming a better fit, healthy person.
For the last few weeks I have done a ton of research on exercises, fitness programs and hundreds of websites. I have taken techniques and advise from all my research and I have created 3 workout programs that best fit my needs and the needs of millions of people. The workout programs that I have created, great results are guaranteed.
I'm here not only to show you the easiest way to get fit but to motivate you in life and get you going on the road of success
